Incubator Partnership Meeting

Rationale

This Financial Inclusion Lab meeting aims to identify the possible innovation partnerships between financial inclusion stakeholders and the academe, and develop solutions to address the local challenges related to financial inclusion. A joint endeavor between the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas and the Civika Asian Development Academy, this initiative intends to create a community of researchers and innovators to improve the level of financial inclusion in the country and develop innovative solutions by harnessing local institutions and resources. Event Objectives

  • Identify opportunities on how to integrate Financial Inclusion into the innovation portfolios of students and faculty through university-based incubators;

  • Explore and discuss arrangements regarding the implementation of the Financial Inclusion Lab projects with different colleges and disciplines;

  • Identify the critical activities for the partnerships between the Financial Inclusion Lab and university-based incubators

Aura Leah Reyes

Kevin dela Cruz

Kevin has been working in the development sector for nine (9) years assuming various roles as a social entrepreneur, government consultant for livelihood and education, and a program development manager for public and private organizations.

He is currently working as the Entrepreneurship and Incubation Manager of the Innovation for Social Impact Partnership, a joint program of the United Nations Development Program and PhilDev Foundation. He is also the Founder and Lead Consultant of Strago Solutions Consulting working with clients coming from various sectors focusing on development sustainability and management.

He is awarded by Meg Magazine as one of the 30 under 30 Youth Movers and Achievers of the Philippines in 2013. He is currently taking his graduate studies in Ateneo School of Government taking up Masters in Public Management.
